Speaking of 'Go Your Own Way'...

Here's a video I stumbled across today of the band Jellyfish doing a blistering (aside from the vocals) cover of "Go Your Own Way". (That's a sentence I never thought I'd write.) Those of you who never heard of Jellyfish - probably most of you - it might be worth tracking down a copy of "Spilt Milk" and hear how it predicted the indie/baroque pop revival by fifteen years.

Heh, back in the early 90's I had a housemate in NC who was big into Jellyfish - in fact he pretty much made me the fan I am today of bands like Big Star and the Raspberries. It didn't hurt that he was part of the Winston-Salem power-pop scene back in the day (he played keys for Two Pound Planet, and I was in a short-lived band with his brother). I think he's a doctor now. ;p
